I am currently doing my internship at the GHEP Lab as a second year master’s student in Theoretical and Experimental Psychology, Ghent University. During this internship I seak to learn more about different neurostimulation and neuroimaging techniques, and their application in healty and clinical populations. I specifically focus on the relationship between cognitive control and emotion.
The aim of the project is to explore whether transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS) applied over the dorsolateral prefrontal cortex (DLPFC) can alter the relationship between cognitive control and emotional interference. In addition, I assist in a project investigating the relation between resonance breathing, tDCS and stress.
